The new movie of Superman, Man of Steel, is absolutely grand, both in story and big bang action., furthermore, there are lots of things we can learn from the movie …especially advice from a father to a son …
Jor-El: “Every person can be a force of good”
Sometimes we forget. We get caught up in the daily grind, the mundane, the to-do lists. We let a negative comment, a rude phone call or a nasty email affect our day, but what about the good?
I’ve always said, “It’s the little things in life that make the world go ’round,” and I truly believe that.
Jor-El: “What if a child dreamed of becoming something other than what society had intended? What if a child aspired to something greater?”
As a leader, Your job is to create a work environment in which people are felt empowered, productive, contributing, and happy. Don’t hobble them by limiting their tools or information. Trust them to do the right thing. Get out of their way and watch them catch fire. Let them surprise you with remarkable result.
Joe-El : “You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders”
Hope makes us feel lighter and stronger. No matter what adversity we encounter, hope gives us strength and keeps us persistent and determined to move forward in life. Hope reassures us things will get better in time, and helps us come alive during moments of recovery.
Jor-El: “You’ve grown stronger here than I ever could’ve imagined. The only way to know how strong, is to keep testing your limits”
We live in a fast-paced, multi-tasking world. Nothing good comes easily. It’s absolutely necessary to stretch your limits by taking on more challenges and re-defining what is possible. try new things, destroying boundaries, and being outstanding.
Jonathan Kent: “One day, you’re going to have to make a choice. You have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, it’s going to change the world”
Don’t spend your time on the sidelines watching others perform their rolls. Work on your plan, perform your roll passionately.
Jonathan Kent: “You ARE my son. And I have to believe that you were sent here for a reason. And even if it takes the rest of your life, you owe it to yourself to find out what that reason is”
Every God’s creatures exist for a reason, Everyone need to perform our parts. We each have a part to perform and we are to do it to the best of our ability, No one is insignificant in God’s eyes and He has created each of us with a purpose.
